Summer Intramurals
Resurrection Church, Rye NY, sponsors a Summer College-Aged Men's Intramural Basketball League. Registration is open to males ages 17 to 24, who have graduated High School and reside in Rye or any neighboring community.
Games will be played June to August one evening per week in the air-conditioned Resurrection Middle School Doty Gym. There will be two games per night 8:00 pm and 9:00pm. Every game will have four 8 minute quarters and two referees. Every player is guaranteed to play at least two quarters. Teams will be evenly divided according to size and ability. There will be volunteer coaches who will make substitutions. Each player receives a Team jersey. No play-offs. Refs will be provided.
The purpose of our league is fun, exercise, and being able to connect with others from our community. We expect all players to be "Good Sports". Foul language, bad manners, and complaining to the referees is not allowed.
