We are a parish-based youth sports program open to boys and girls from 1st through 12th grades. The purpose of CYO basketball is to provide children with a positive, character-building experience through the vehicle of sports. Children have the opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities, build confidence, have fun, and make friends.

Well, here's your chance!
Westchester/Putnam CYO sponsors a vibrant and exciting High School Basketball League with teams from many parishes traveling to compete against one another. For the 2017-2018 Season, Resurrection CYO hopes to field two Boys Grade 9-10 JV teams, at least one Boys Grade 11-12 Varsity team, and a Girls Grade 9-12 Varsity team.
The 12-game season begins in November and runs through mid-February. Games are usually on the weekends. Practices will be once a week starting in October.
Please click the link below to register before September 5th. No payment will be requested at this time. If we receive enough registrations to field a team in your age group, you will be asked to make an online payment of the $250 Registration Fee to finalize your registration and confirm your spot on a team.
Each season, Resurrection CYO hosts independent try-outs in mid-September to evaluate and place our 6th, 7th and 8th grade players on teams where they will be comfortable with the competition, optimize their playing time, and be best positioned to improve their skills.
Registration for tryouts will be included with your regular season registration.

Player assessments will be conducted by independent professional coaches and referees experienced in CYO basketball, and teams will be constructed in consultation with the Resurrection CYO Board. Any player who wishes to be considered for a Select Team (those playing in high competition divisions) must attend both sessions. All players are encouraged to attend both sessions so we can establish competitive balance within and among teams. There are no “cuts". Everyone who registers will be on a team.
Players placed on Select Teams will be expected to have attendance greater than 90% of all practices and games, including County Playoffs in February.

Registration for 3rd-8th Grade
Open through August 24!
Registration for the Resurrection CYO Basketball regular season is now open for players entering grades 3 through 8. Parents can log on to our website at www.resurrectioncyo.com and click the "Register Online" tab on the left vertical menu to complete the registration process. Please review the information under the "CYO Eligibility" tab before beginning the registration process, and have your parishioner number handy. Players must meet the Resurrection CYO eligibility requirements in order to register.
Descriptions of our 3rd and 4th grade intramural program, 5th grade travel, and 6th-8th grade travel programs are available under the "CYO Program Descriptions" tab.
The registration fee is $180, with a uniform fee of $60 for 5th graders starting travel.
Registration is open through August 24. Any registration after August 24 will be assessed a $50 late fee.
